As far as I...I see it as a good "excuse". As far as I can remember, it is a dog's instinct to get rid of dead tissue from an injured or diseased member of their pack. Gangrene can be indeed a serious problem if left "untreated" (and the one of the usual causes of gangrene happens to be diabetes). I think they're sure it ain't 'foul play' because it IS a part of vet training to know about dog instincts and behaviors, not because they can read their minds lol.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
